You can download the latest version of CRIISTAL from the Download page.
The downloaded file is a compressed setup distribution. By starting the .exe file and confirming the installation, temporary files are being extracted and the installer launches.
Directories for the installation of CRIISTAL itself as well as for National Instruments Software Components can be selected individually.
After finishing the installation a prompt to reboot the PC might appear. This is absolutely necessary for the function of CRIISTAL or any related tools.
After a reboot, if a firewall is installed, the loopback traffic of newly installed National Instruments services must be allowed for CRIISTAL to function properly.
CRIISTAL can then be found in the Windows start menu under Sohatex\CRIISTAL and is per default running in the free license mode.
Information about licensing and license installation to use advanced features or additional hardware can be found unser Licensing.
